The Webster’s dictionary gives the following meaning for the word “journey”: A passage through life, or a passage through any significant experience or from one state to another, or to travel or passage from one place to another.
We always comment on what a journey this has been. Vintage too has been the most unbelievable journey for us. The idea was seeded during a shopping trip and blossomed with our enthusiasm, excitement and passion to pursue our dreams and to be involved with something we love to do. Everything starts somewhere and this journey, oddly enough, started with a…door! Shopping for a vintage door has opened up this opportunity for us.
The very best part of vintage too is the time that two best friends get to spend together. Each “picking” trip we take is simply amazing! We may start out early in the morning thinking we know what lies ahead or where the old Ford truck will take us, but we know we are guided by a spirit that takes us where we need to be that day! We have had the most fortunate trips looking for special treasures and have met some very special people along the way. The laughs are endless!
Our only goal in starting Vintage too was to “learn and have fun” and WOW we are sure doing both! We don’t know where this journey will lead, but at this very moment, we are just enjoying the ride!
